Let's see what has happened since my last post......well not much.
In April we moved into a new house, still in Woodinville, but at the opposite end of town. We needed a bigger place and we got a wonderful house. Ashliegh has her own room and we have a huge yard for the kids to play in....it's perfect.
We are still waiting for some things to be settled before we are sealed in the Temple....but it is our goal and we are hopeful it will happen sooner rather than later.
......well until later!!!

Family Update
I have to get better at updating this page on a regular basis.......
So what has all happened since the last update...well
Britton celebrated his 6th birthday, Brooklyn celebrated her 8th birthday and Melton celebrated his 36th birthday.
We had a wonderful two week visit with Joyce (Melton's mom) in August, she even got to be here for Hailee's first birthday party which was a very special present. Hailee didn't start to walk until late September early October but now that she is she is unstoppable. I keep telling Melton that we should advertise with construction crews....."One baby Demolition Service - 5 minutes or less" cause she can destroy any room in a matter of seconds and then move on to the next thing with out even a hesitation.
We had a very special day in August...we were able to go to the Temple together so that i could take out my endowments and it was the first time in quite a while that Melton was also able to attend a session...this meant alot to both of us. Our next goal is to be sealed in the temple and have Ashliegh, Makenzi and Hailee sealed to us as well. We are just waiting on a few things to get resolved before we can do that but our tentative date as of right now is March 9th!!!!!
Ashliegh turned 11 in September and we are definitely into the preteen attitude......
Christmas came and went with a HUGE amount of snow....we never want to see snow again. We had almost three feet of snow, we couldn't get out of our driveway until the Monday after Christmas and that was after my dad, Melton and Rachel's boyfriend spent 6 + hours out side shoveling our driveway. Needless to say we are now suffering the backlash of all that snow with flooding all over Washington.....oh by the way we still have mounds of snow in our yard that have not melted away yet.
We are now into 2009 and off to a running start...Melton and i both got new cars (well new to us). We were blessed with the opportunity to get a Ford Expedition for our family and get rid of the mini van that we have had nothing but trouble with...and then we were blessed again with the chance to get Melton Mazada 3 since his car is also on it's last leg and we never know how much longer it is going to hang in there...Needless to say we are both very happy with the recent purchases.
Makenzi will be 10 next month and is very excited about that.......Melton and I will be celebrating our 2nd anniversary.....holy cow it doesn't seem like it has been two years....but we have had a very eventful two years and had many mountains to climb but we have survived.
We are still working through some court issues with Stacie but we are hopeful that it will all work out soon. We have Brooklyn back in the house on a regular basis now and it seems to be working well...she has made some great progress and we hope that that progress continues so that we can plan her baptism soon.
Well that's all for now...hope you are all doing well and enjoying your new year!!!!!
With Love,
Melton and Marie

Family Update
Let's see, i know it has been awhile since we updated and added pictures....what has all happened?
Melton and i celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary on the 15th of February..nothing fancy just a nice quiet dinner at home with no kids.
Hailee is now 8 months old, Makenzi turned 9 on the 8th of February. Brooklyn will be 8 a month from Saturday and Britton will be five two months from tomorrow. Things have been really lively around our house with Melton's knee surgery and kids activities.
I am very excited about a new opportunity i have to work as the Elementary Summer School secretary this July...it will be a great learning experience for me and I'm hoping to use it as a stepping stone to getting a full time Office Managers position....keeping my fingers crossed.
Melton is still working at Medtronic, but continually looking for other opportunities work wise, he is very excited about Football season coming up next month. I on the other hand am dreading it....lots of time away from home and crazy schedules.
